‘Best of’ Winners Coming Nov. 5th

10/14/09 06:16 PM

Perennial contenders GeoLearning, Learn.com, Outstart and SkillSoft lead finalists in balloting for the 2009 “Best of Elearning!” Awards.

Readers and professionals from both the private and public sector cast ballots for the best e-learning solutions providers across 16 product categories. Winners for each category will be named at the Elearning! Summit on Nov. 5.

“The Best of Elearning! Awards program is the only reader’s choice awards in the market, and we are excited about expanding voting to federal, state and local agencies as well as educational institutions,” says Catherine Upton, group publisher of Elearning! and Government Elearning! magazines.

This year, the Elearning! Magazine Group received 1,755 nominations, twice the volume of last year’s program, making each category very competitive. Fifty-five individual products will be honored, of which 21 are new to their category.

This year’s online ballot featured four new categories: Best LCMS, Best TMS, Best Rapid Development Tool and Best Social Learning Tool.

Each ballot was reviewed and validated by the editorial team. All vendor ballots were voided. Every honoree will be featured in the January 2010 editions of both magazines.
