Engineering & Computer Simulations (ECS) was a winner was chosen as the winner in the government category and the People’s Choice Award at the 2009 Serious Games Showcase & Challenge.
“Computer Based Corpsman Training System” (used by the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command) made history by winning in both categories. As a finalist, “Computer Based Corpsman Training System” was featured at the Serious Game Showcase & Challenge in the pavilion at the Interservice/Industry Training Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC).
The game, developed for the Marine Corps, builds on an earlier Army combat casualty care game. The new game adds functionality and assessment, and allows Marines to tailor missions and create new scenarios to provide Marines realistic training.
